We'll put your spare on
Changing a tire on the side of a busy road is dangerous, especially at night or on a highway. Stay in a safe spot and let us handle it.
We remove the flat, put on your spare, and tighten the lug nuts, so you can drive to a tire shop for a repair or a new tire.
Help us help you faster
- Where your spare is. Most are in the trunk, but many trucks and SUVs keep it under the vehicle.
- Locking lug nuts? If your wheels have them, find the special key. It's often in the glove box or with the spare.
- No spare? Tell us when you call, and we'll bring a tow truck instead.
No spare tire? We can still help
Many newer cars don't come with a spare tire at all. Some have a tire repair kit with sealant and an air pump instead, and some have run-flat tires.
If you don't have a usable spare, or the tire is too damaged to fix on the spot, we'll tow your vehicle to a tire shop, a repair shop, or your home.
Don't drive on a flat
Driving even a short distance on a flat tire can ruin the tire and damage the wheel, brakes, and suspension. If your tire goes flat:
- Slow down and pull off the road as soon as it's safe
- Turn on your hazard lights
- On a highway, stay in your vehicle if it's unsafe to get out
- Call us with your location

Driving on a spare tire
Many cars come with a temporary spare, often called a donut. It's smaller than a regular tire and is only meant to get you to a tire shop.
Temporary spares are often limited to about 50 mph and a short distance, commonly around 50 to 70 miles. Check the tire's sidewall or your owner's manual for your exact limits, and replace or repair your regular tire as soon as you can.
